Sweet Graffiti
This series starts with original paper and canvas that I collage to wood panel.
Experience has taught me that beautiful color combinations and intriguing markings are created organically anywhere paint lands randomly.
In an effort to catch as much of that organic beauty as possible I choose paper and loose canvas to clean my brushes.
After collaging the paper, I finish off the beauty with brush strokes here and there to enhance composition and color relationships.
I enjoy this process and its creative outlet in the safety of my studio, not having to hang off the sides of buildings or jump railroad tracks is a huge bonus!
